In today's rapidly changing world, educators need creative and human-centered approaches to solve complex challenges. This course equips you with the powerful design thinking methodology to catalyze innovation and positive transformation across your organization.
​Participants will master the fundamentals of design thinking, cultivate key traits and explore the design process stages. They will apply methods to uncover opportunities, conduct insightful research, interpret findings, define problems, and generate creative ideas.

Course Learning Objective

Learners will be able to:

• Appreciate the importance of design thinking through the concepts of design thinking and traits of a design thinker.
• Identify opportunities for applying the stages of design thinking across the organisation.
• Apply the methods to implement plans to embed design thinking.
• Communicate the design outcomes and process for design ideas.
• Apply prototyping methodologies to develop and execute design concepts through prototypes.
• ​Utilise metrics to benchmark and measure outcomes of design ideas and solutions.

Our Target Audience:

Existing early childhood educators or aspiring educators looking to acquire new knowledge and skills in implementing design thinking practices in classroom management.

Minimum Entry Requirement:

o Language and literacy proficiency level;
o Target age group: 21 and above
o Prerequisite skills and knowledge: No prerequisite skills        and knowledge required
o Required years of experience in relevant domain: 2-3          years in Training and education experiance
o Minimum education level: Min. diploma level

Bulner Xavier

Bulner Xavier Wittebrowm, with a background in education and marketing, demonstrates strong design thinking in various areas. He has experience teaching children with ADHD and mild autism, creating adaptive, user-centered learning strategies. His most successful project is a kids' art program, K.I.S (Keep It Simple), focused on accessible mixed-media art education. Additionally, he developed an attendance tracking app to enhance parent engagement, using a physical booth for real-time marketing.
​His notable achievement at the Heartland Enterprise Challenge (HIC) showcases his ability to deliver impactful, practical solutions. His work reflects a focus on user empathy, creativity, and problem-solving.

# Enhanced Training Support Scheme

• Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
• At least 30% local shareholding by Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
• Employment size of not more than 200 (at group level) or with annual sales turnover (at group level) of not more than SGD100 million
• Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
• Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION
Participant is to register for the course programme using their full name as indicated in the government-issued identification.

When registration is confirmed, participants will receive an email confirmation along with information on the course programme. If no seats are available for the applied date, you will be notified immediately and given an alternative date.

T.A.P Academy Pte Ltd reserves the right to change the course schedules, programmes and content without prior notice. We also reserve the right to cancel the course due to unforeseen circumstances.

PAYMENT
Payment must be made upon the receipt of invoice and before course commencement.
(For self-sponsored participant who is claiming SkillsFuture Credit, kindly refrain from making payment till the claim is approved.)

CANCELLATION
Request for withdrawal or postponement must be made in writing to T.A.P Academy Pte Ltd. Refunds arising from course withdrawal/deferment will be subjected to the following terms: 

• More than 2 weeks before course commencement: Full refund. 
• Less than 2 weeks before course commencement: 50% refund. 
• On or after course commencement: No refund.
